An Important Announcement from Vom Sturmjäger Deutsche Schäferhunde

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend, Frances Jones, founder of Vom Sturmjäger Deutsche Schäferhunde.

Frances dedicated her life to the German Shepherd Dog, building Vom Sturmjäger with unwavering passion, integrity, and a commitment to producing exceptional dogs. Her knowledge, dedication, and friendship touched countless people within the German Shepherd community and beyond. The loss of Frances is deeply felt, and there are no words that can adequately express how much she will be missed.

After much thought and reflection, we have decided to continue the Vom Sturmjäger breeding program in her honor. This is not a responsibility we take lightly. Frances entrusted us with her dogs, her vision, and the legacy she worked so hard to create. We are committed to upholding the values and standards that made Vom Sturmjäger respected and to building on the foundation she established.

As we move forward, there will be some changes, including an eventual transition to a new name that reflects the team carrying on Frances's work. While the name may evolve, the heart of the program—and the principles Frances believed in—will remain unchanged.

We know many of you are grieving alongside us. We are grateful for the support, memories, and kind words that have been shared during this difficult time. Together, we will honor Frances's legacy by ensuring that the future of this program remains bright.
